Market Stall Attendant
Transition Bondi is looking for a volunteer to join the Steering Group as Farmers Market Stall Attendant.
Ideal Monthly Commitment: 5-10 hours
Role
Requires attending Bondi Farmers once a month on Saturday morning (the second calendar Saturday of the month) to set up, interact with the public, promote TB’s activities, and pack up with a group of other volunteers.
Responsibilities
As a Market Stall Attendant, you will:
- Be the face of Transition Bondi at Bondi Market on the second and fourth Saturdays each month.
- Set up and engage with visitors from 8:30am to 1pm.
- Spark conversations, share initiatives, and inspire sustainable living.
- Use your exceptional communication skills to connect with a diverse range of market-goers.
Skills required
To excel as a Market Stall Attendant Volunteer, you should have:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, engaging effectively with diverse individuals.
- Confidence in sharing Transition Bondi’s mission and sparking conversations.
- A genuine interest in sustainable living and environmental initiatives.
