Mend & Remake
Mardi Gras Edition 🌈
Sequins optional. Creativity essential.
Join us for a special Mardi Gras edition of Mend & Remake, where we turn old clothes and leftover materials into bold, joyful, very-you creations.
This workshop is about reuse, play, and self-expression. Instead of buying new, we show you how to transform what you already have into something fabulous. Think colour, texture, drama, and a little bit of chaos, in the best way.

Two ways to take part
1. Make a Mardi Gras costume
We will demonstrate three fun costume ideas using reused garments and materials. You can follow along, remix the ideas, or go completely off-script.
2. Mend and repair like a regular session
Not into costumes? No problem. Use this session like a regular Mend & Remake and work on repairing everyday clothing.
Who it’s for
All skill levels are welcome. Absolute beginners, confident sewists, hot glue enthusiasts, and curious experimenters.
What to bring
Bring clothes or materials you are ready to cut, stitch, layer, or reinvent. Come make something loud, joyful, and reused, together.
