Permaculture Education Institute’s Festival of Wild & Kind Ideas, May 2026
By Kit Shepherd, Transition Bondi
Transition Bondi took the wonderful opportunity to call people together to hear some of
the speakers who were part of the 2026 Permaculture Education Institute’s Festival of
Wild & Kind Ideas. And now the recordings are available for more community
connecting.
Access to replays for all to dive into:

We will run a monthly series for the rest of this year, and conversations will be enriched
by the wealth of resources that Morag facilitates. As well as these Festival talks, there
is her podcast, newsletter, blog and instructional YouTube videos (anyone for growing
potatoes in an urban space?)
There is a lively WhatsApp channel that began at the festival and continues, which
extends contacts and conversations across the world!
Here is the list of speakers and their topics, spanning the local, to deep time, through
eco-philosophy, psychology and community scale action, cultural perspectives, water,
food and seeds.
Technology and those who operate it have allowed us to be in the presence of
outstanding elders, leaders, teachers, and passionate practitioners. Amazing and huge
