Transition Bondi will tap into the wonderful resource of Festival -Talks recently screened at the Festival of Wild and Kind Ideas in May 2026. This was a 6-day festival featuring 40 inspiring thinkers, doers and creatives from around the world exploring wild and kind ideas.

It was hosted by Morag Gamble, founder of the Permaculture Education Institute.
Festival-Talk #2 “The Great Simplification” with Nate Hagens.
Tuesday July 21, 6.30-8pm online and in person. Pot-luck dinner at 6pm, film at 6.30pm (Bondi location tbc on registration)

Nate Hagens is the Director of the Institute for the Study of Energy & Our Future, an organisation dedicated to preparing society for future transitions. Drawing on economics, psychology and ecology, his work explores the opportunities and constraints surrounding the coming peak of global economic growth. His presentations provide a framework and context for understanding these changes and for helping people shape a more effective and resilient future.
