Transition Bondi is welcoming Yvonne to discuss about SEEING WHITENESS

Many of us are eager to understand First Nations people, worldviews, living cultures and knowledges; but how do we learn and engage respectfully and valuably as non-Indigenous people?

Yvonne invites us to become culturally aware of ourselves first – understanding the worldviews, societal constructs and biases that we hold as a departure point for our unlearning and reckoning with settler colonialism in Australia and its continuing impacts.

In the spirit of reconciliation, Yvonne (non-Indigenous) will discuss personal tips to deepen this understanding based on her ongoing journey informed by her studies, working with Aboriginal people, organisations and relationships with community.

Cost $10 – bring a vegan plate (no soup)
