‘Break bread’ with local chef Jonathan Symonds to talk food, prana, community and tap into the body’s natural wisdom.
Food is a daily practice, providing us with fuel andnourishment. However, there are opposing forces at work – like quick-fix convenience products that offer little to no nutrition, and the burden of work/commitments that can make cooking and eating merely a formality.
Rediscover the the joy of preparing and sharing food that connects us with ourselves, our community and the wider world.
About Jonathan Symonds
A bondi local, Jonathan grew up with a keen fascination for food. Starting with eating, and then moving to the pursuit of a career in cookery. Travels around the world and meeting new cultures informed the communal aspect of eating that now drives his food philosophy. Jonathan uses his love of food as a means for establishing connections, introducing mindfulness and promoting a new relationship with food.
